Why I chose to be an aviation engineer – John Goglia
IFA has recognised that a shortage of engineering professionals can become an airworthiness issue, if it is not addressed. Effort is needed to attract new talent into aviation engineering and that needs to start early. Effort is needed to retain existing skilled professionals too. Effort is needed to promote the rewarding nature of the work.
IFA will raise awareness of the opportunities that exist at an exciting time in the advance of aviation. We needs to inspire young people to pursue engineering careers.
Here IFA is presenting short video clips that tell the story of why our colleagues became aviation engineers. We hope that sharing their experiences will inspire people.
In our second clip our esteemed colleague John Goglia shares his experiences and opportunities including being part of the NTSB.
