IFA Comment:  IFA is deeply saddened about the Pakistan International Airlines Airbus A320 aircraft crash in Karachi.  Our condolences to all the bereaved families of this fatal accident.

Engine failures don’t normally result in such a catastrophic event,  we will follow the investigation – could the damage done to the engines accumulated in the go-around and why that may have driven the shutdown of both engines.

On May 22nd 2020 an Airbus airplane A320-214 (registration AP-BLD) was operating a domestic flight from  Lahore and Karachi, Pakistan. The flight was PIA Pakistan International Airlines PK8303.
