IFA Comment: It happens, as you can see from the links below it is not always due to wildlife and sadly can have fatal consequences.

Pilots and Maintainers are taught to remember the basics of flying: Aviate, Navigate, and Communicate.  Without reliable air data the first, and most important of those; Aviate, is difficult.  So, remember to check those Pitot and Static ports.
