New draft guidance for Future Flight

Future Flight Guidance PAS is now available for public consultation

In aviation, understanding regulatory management and assurance systems is crucial to safeguard every passenger and crew, including for future flight innovations like uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS).

With that in mind, we’ve collaborated with Future Flight Standards Hub members and industry stakeholders to develop a new draft standard, PAS 1905 Future flight systems – Regulatory principles, management systems and lifecycle assurance processes – Guide. Find out more here.

It aims to help new entrants and other organizations build a common understanding of the aviation regulatory framework and lifecycle relevant to future flight systems.

The draft PAS is open for public consultation and we are keen to get public feedback to ensure it reflects diverse perspectives and achieves consensus.

Please visit our Standards Development page to find out more and share your comments.

As always, you’ll find further insights and details about this, and other standards in development in the hub – do join our “Guidance” space to stay updated and get the latest news and developments first.
