IFA/Cranfield announce 2025 John Saull Scholarship winner

Abenazer Tasissa is the third person to receive the IFA/Cranfield John Saull scholarship. Abenazer is from Ethiopia and has been working at Ethiopian Airlines for 9 years, He holds a Master’s degree in Project Leadership and Management from Ethiopian Civil Service University and BSc Degree in Electrical and Electronics Technology from Ethiopian Technical University complemented by extensive hands-on experience in aviation technical operations. Abenazer’s career began in aircraft component workshops, where he developed a deep understanding of maintenance processes, before transitioning to a Technical Auditor role in Compliance Monitoring Department, where he gained insight into regulatory frameworks and organizational safety cultures. John Saull’s family were delighted to witness the announcement of Abenazer’s achievement and we hope to formally present him with the award in person when he attends the Course at Cranfield University he won as part of the Scholarship next year.
