2019 Aircraft Airworthiness & Sustainment Conference (AA&SC) Brisbane

This week, Steve Swift, IFA’s VP for Australasia, is busy representing IFA at the Aircraft Airworthiness & Sustainment Conference (AA&SC) in Brisbane, Australia. It is the main annual gathering for airworthiness professionals in Steve’s region.

The format is a good mix of presentations and panel discussions. Topics include using ISO 55000 to manage continuing airworthiness, lessons from space vehicle airworthiness, and synergies between civil and military airworthiness. International participants include Airbus, Boeing, NASA and the FAA.

Steve hands a copy of the IFA’s magazine, ‘Airworthiness Matters’, to the conference organiser, Richard Gauntlett.

Steve’s report on the conference will soon be available to members, here on our website.
