This prestigious award is nominated by the IFA members and honours the work of Sir Frank Whittle, father of the jet engine.  It recognises an outstanding contribution to airworthiness.

Newly appointed IFA President and previous Whittle Award Winner, Mr Al Zabin presented the certificate and medal to Cliff Edwards during the IASS Conference held in Shanghai, China.
