This prestigious award is nominated by the IFA members and honours the work of Sir Frank Whittle, father of the jet engine.  It recognises an outstanding contribution to airworthiness.  

Yves Morier, Regulation Director of JAA

In recognition of his leadership in the evolution of the European aviation safety regulations, the JAR’s, and his major contribution in the harmonisation of the European and North American Certification standards and processes.

Yves was presented with his medal and certificate by IFA Trustee, Mr Stewart John during the IASS Conference held in Dublin.
