Join us for our next online IFA event! “The Challenges & Opportunities related to Safety & Airworthiness” with Mike Ainsworth

Monday 20th April, Online (Zoom) 12:00 GMT

For this webinar, Mike will be using the following analogy:

It’s 02:30 on a cold, wet February morning on the apron at London Gatwick. A Part 66 B1 Licenced Engineer is the Certifier as well as being in charge of the Team changing an engine on an A330.

What steps has the B1 Certifier gone through so far in his career to ensure that he is competent to certify the engine change and lead the Team? What on going support will he need from his management and support areas of his company in order for him to carry out his duties in a safe, compliant and timely manner?

Questions in advance (Which can be answered on the registration form):

  1. What support should there be from his company?
  2. What training is required for him to be competent?
  3. What level of focus should there be on leadership training for Certifiers?
  4. How can the Certifier be provided with the data and background information to enable him to carry out his duties?
  5. What training needs to be delivered in a classroom environment?
  6. Should Continuation Training be ongoing?
  7. How should his Company support him when things go wrong and he is involved in a maintenance error?

This event is FREE to join.
