Airlines 2050 is the definitive aviation summit for the UK. Launched last year by airline groups Airlines UK, BAR UK and IATA UK, alongside FlightGlobal, this event brings together the leading industry and government figures to address the extreme issues and challenges for the sector in a Covid-impacted world. And in 2020, Airlines 2050 is going digital.

On Monday 19 October, this free-of-charge event will be live streamed online with a mixture of keynotes and panel discussions. There will also be opportunities to ask your questions LIVE to our speakers.

With the worldwide Covid-19 situation impacting aviation beyond recognition, this event will focus on how we can look beyond the crisis and how all parties play their role in rebuilding the sector.

Featuring prominent UK governmental figures, as well as leading airline CEOs and experts, our discussions will include the future aviation strategy to support the sector and its key role in reviving the UK economy, as well as managing the path to recovery. Airlines 2050 will examine airline recovery strategies and tactics as they struggle with chronically low and uncertain demand. Airlines 2050 will also discuss the concept of a ‘Green Recovery’ and how an industry, already under heavy scrutiny, will continue its drive for a sustainable future.
