The Royal Aeronautical Society’s 7th Aircraft Structural Design Conference which will be hosted and supported by the University of Limerick.
As an industry we are seeing progressively stricter environmental constraints with relatively short, cast-iron deadlines are being internationally imposed. In addition, pressure for reductions in manufacturing and life-cycle costs coupled with a requirement for continual improvements in overall performance/efficiency factors are important influences. Not only are new and upgraded aircraft designs complex, but so is the supporting design software.
– A forum for speakers and delegates to address the complexities mentioned above, to share their pioneering research and join important conversations about major developments in their industry.
– Delve into current research on the design and manufacture of future civil and military air-vehicles both manned and uninhabited including both airframe and engines.
– Analyse and identify the key developments of interdisciplinary, dynamically interactive software supporting the design of modern aircraft in complex environments.
