Structures and Systems Engineer at Air Niugini, Mr Allan Tira was awarded the 2013 Scholarship award. He chose to attend the Boeing Course 460 Aircraft Corrosion, Prevention and Control course held in May 2014.
“ I am thankful for the privilege and opportunity. What I learn from the course will be of beneficial not only for me personally, but also my colleagues and the company as a whole.”
Air Niugini Chief Executive Officer, Mr Simon Foo congratulated Allan on winning the scholarship and emphasized on the importance of sharing skills and knowledge back at the workplace.
“ You are privileged to have been nominated by IFA. I understand, so much will be covered during the three day course but I also believe that the skills and knowledge gained can be shared amongst your colleagues so that Air Niugini can benefit in the long term.” Mr Foo said.
Allan thanked IFA for providing the scholarship and his employer, Air Niugini for having the trust in him.
