EASA Revised Easy Access Rules for Additional Airworthiness Specifications (Regulation (EU) 2015/640)

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency has published a new revision of the Easy Access Rules for Additional Airworthiness Specifications (Regulation (EU) 2015/640). 

This Revision from March 2023 incorporates new requirements adopted by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1254 and EASA ED Decision 2022/019/R amending CS-26 .The following topics are addressed: large aeroplane tyre pressure monitoring, helicopter ditching and water impact occupant survivability, and exemptions from the conversion of Class D cargo/baggage compartments.

It is also available as dynamic online publication with filters for obtaining the regulatory material tailored to one’s needs, search functions for quickly accessing the relevant sections, and easy navigation for computers, tablets, and mobile phones as well as the XML (machine-readable) format.

The EAR book is generated through the eRules platform and will be updated regularly to incorporate further changes and evolutions to its content.
