British School of Aviation (BSA) and the International Federation of Airworthiness (IFA) Partner to Help Industry and Support Emerging Aviation Talent.
London Luton Airport, UK – [16th May 2025] – In an announcement made during the IFA UK Industry Leaders Panel Event, the IFA and BSA have launched a joint initiative aimed at supporting industry and the next generation of aerospace engineers.
The IFA will provide free of charge memberships and the BSA will provide free of charge General Familiarisation Courses to all apprentices in attendance at the most recent and future IFA Industry Leaders Panel events.
Both organisations share the vision that early-stage training and mentorship are vital to developing the workforce. Aviation must meet future demand, the goal of the program is to give apprentices a general understanding and insight into aircraft systems, testing and maintenance processes.
The first course will start on the Airbus A320, one of the most widely used aircraft in the world and will help those pursuing licences as part of their apprentice training schemes. This initiative is part of BSA and IFA joint commitment to help equip the next generation with the skills and insights necessary to thrive in aviation
