IFA Comments: IFA joins our US colleagues in a day of recognition forAviation Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) and Licensed Aircraft Engineers (LAEs). It’s a day to focus on those dedicated people who are the “faces behind safety” in the aviation maintenance community. Those professional engineers who day-after-day, in a high-pressure environment, in all weather conditions ensure that the aircraft continue to be airworthy. On this day, we honour our (current and retired) technicians across the globe for their commitment to safety and their capability, experience and professionalism.
