AIREON – Update on global movements
The chart is a follow-on to last week’s changes in global aircraft movements since Jan 1, 2020. It bottomed out the week of Apr 13, 2020 w/ a decrease in 492K movements. We have now recovered 10% of those movements. Last week, it was 8%. Moving in the right direction. #COVID19
IFA Comment: It’s possible that a gradual recovery is starting to take shape across the globe. Individual Countries and industries are in dire situation and long-term plans are being changed dramatically but when the whole air transport sector is looked at there’s reason to think that a slow recovery is underway.
