Johnson’s Four-Letter Word to Consider Human Factors in an SMS

Dr. Bill Johnson, a former FAA Chief Human Factors Scientist, will introduce and review the PEAR Model as an ideal organized method to proactively consider risk or to identify contributing factors when an event occurs. Safety programs evolve and change names and acronyms but, ultimately, it comes down to People, the Environment in which they work, the Actions they perform, and the Resources necessary to ensure quality and safety. That’s PEAR!
