CAP3237: UK Main National Aviation Safety Plan 2026-2029

The UK’s National Aviation Safety Plan (NASP) contains the high-level strategic direction of the UK Main for the management of aviation safety for a period of 3 years.

The NASP presents a series of Safety Enhancement Initiatives with the objective to enhance safety performance, reduce operational risks and organisational challenges.

The NASP details how the CAA will continue to protect passengers, crew, and general public as air travel grows and new technologies across the aviation sector are being explored.

As millions of passengers safely travel via the UK each year, the NASP will further promote high level of safety working with industry and partners and continue to build a strong global reputation for aviation safety.

The objective for this 2nd iteration of the UK Main NASP has been to deliver a more comprehensive, accessible and relevant document.

We will soon begin the work for the next iteration of the NASP and welcome any feedback via [email protected]
