Airbus has reported 793 commercial aircraft deliveries for calendar 2025, up 3.5% from 766 deliveries in the prior year. The 2026 total was in line with the company’s guidance of 790 deliveries for the full year, noting Airbus in late 2025 lowered its target from an initial expectation of 820 deliveries for the 12 months to December 31 2025. “In a continued complex and dynamic operating environment, deliveries in 2025 maintained an upward trajectory,” Airbus said. The airframer said it booked gross orders for 1,000 aircraft last year, with a net figure of 889 after accounting for cancellations and other changes. This was above the 878 gross and 826 net orders received in 2024. At December 31 2025, the commercial aircraft order backlog stood at 8,754 planes, up from 8,658 at the end of 2024. “In 2025, Airbus achieved another healthy book to bill above one,” the company said.
