IFA UK Industry Leaders Panel Event 2024
Last Thursday, IFA held its annual one-day networking event and celebration. This year the event was titled: UK Industry Leaders Panel Event 2024.
It was supported by an assembly of UK aviation industry leaders and a large group of apprentices and students. This was a wonderful opportunity for them to engage and ask them all sorts of questions. The apprentices and students were able to learn about the diversity of jobs that are out there in aircraft engineering.
Those with successful business careers took the opportunity to share their experiences with an enthusiastic gathering of young people. They got to hear about the industry leader’s personal journeys, the issues they faced and how they’ve overcome major obstacles. There were tips and advice given on how to build a successful career and contribute to an industry that is constantly changing and innovating.
IFA Technical Director Mick Adams said: “It’s just brilliant. We could feel the buzz in the room. We had a great attendance of apprentices and the UK aviation business leaders. It was a fantastic event hosted kindly by Cranfield. Moderated and managed by the IFA.”
As one apprentice put it: “The day was so upbeat. To get information right from the source. From those leaders that have been in the aviation business for decades.”
