FSF David Morrison Innovation Award Nominations are now open!
The Flight Safety Foundation David Morrison Innovation Award, named after one of the Foundation’s founders, honors notable innovation in civil aviation by individuals, teams, or organizations. David Morrison, an inventor who patented the first digital cockpit instrument panel in 1945 and envisioned the moving map display, played a critical leadership role in the Foundation’s early days. The award recognizes achievements in both technological innovation and process transformation.
