IFA/Cranfield announce 2023 John Saull Scholarship winner
Emily Wilson will be the first person to receive the IFA/Cranfield John Saull scholarship. Emily is an Aerospace Engineering Degree Apprentice within the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD). She is currently working in the DE&S Airworthiness Team at Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S), the procurement arm of the MOD.
John Vincent, IFA CEO said: “We are extremely pleased to present this award to Emily Wilson. Her enthusiasm for working on engineering and human factors issues came shining through in her application. Congratulations.”
John’s family were delighted to see such a high standard of candidates applying for this scholarship and that it is awarded to Emily such a fitting candidate for the first award.
On accepting this scholarship Emily Wilson said: “I am extremely grateful to be selected to receive the IFA/Cranfield John Saull Scholarship. I’m excited about the opportunity to study at Cranfield University, and would like to thank all those who supported my scholarship application.”
