IFA Welcomes new Board Members
The IFA is pleased to welcome two new Board members. Dr Bill Johnson and Sam Kanthamthi joined the IFA Board following the acceptance by members at the December Annual General Meeting.   Both will bring a wealth of experience and depth of aviation knowledge to the Board.
Sam Kanthamathi runs Fatigue Concepts an organisation that is a world leader in Aircraft Structural Integrity Training and said
‘I am delighted and honored to join the IFA Board as we solve problems and chart an effective way forward in this covid-changed world. The recent activities of our IFA in relation to the safe return of airlines fleet to the skies post-grounding have made me proud and renewed my faith in our organization.’

Dr. William B. Johnson, a specialist in aviation safety and human factors has recently departed FAA, after sixteen years as the Chief Scientific and Technical Advisor for Human Factors. His combined engineering human factors experience in universities, engineering consultancies, a large European MRO, and FAA is over 40 years. As a prolific writer, public speaker, and trainer “Dr. Bill” is now returning to the private sector to continue offering his expertise and training courses.
