International cooperation is at the heart of airworthiness for aviation. The importance of working together to introduce innovations and new technologies in a safely manner and at the right time can’t be overestimated.
IFA recognises the need for a good working relationship between international organisations, Authorities and Industry. Not an uncritical relationship but one that unlocks the full benefits of the existing safety agreements. Often emphasised is the importance of the harmonisation of rules but just as important is that we have common performance criteria.
IFA joins ICAO in celebrating the achievements of the last 75 years. Looking forward to the next 75 years in aviation there’s no doubt its going to be an exciting time to be an engineer.
