Steve Swift

IFA Vice President - Australasia

Steve is an aeronautical engineer with more than 40 years industry and regulatory experience in the design, certification, manufacture and maintenance of aircraft structure. In 2007, the IFA awarded Steve our Whittle Safety Award. He also has received a Public Service Medal from the Australian Government, and the Plantema Medal from the International Committee on Aeronautical Fatigue and Structural Integrity.
Steve now runs his own training and consulting company—in airworthiness of course! He is also a member of Australia’s National Aerospace NDT Board.

“In Australasia, we work our aircraft hard.  Many are fleet leaders.  So, we value the IFA’s support for continuing airworthiness.”
