EASA Annual Safety Conference
4th November @ 8:00 am – 5th November @ 5:00 pm GMT
Modern aviation has never seen a year like 2020. This year’s safety conference will seek to bring our industry together to help the collective healing and recovery process, so that we can unite our efforts on a common path towards a safe and sustainable recovery.
Many organisations will be asking themselves very difficult questions. This year’s conference will provide a platform to discuss how we can maintain our excellent safety record while also embracing the environmental challenges that today’s world demands of us.
Finally, with people in aviation going through so many personal challenges, we will also address the role of leadership to ensure that the workforce is looked after, despite the challenges that we face.
This year’s edition will take place virtually and be split over two days.
- 4th November 2020 from 14:00-17:00
We will open with key note speeches from EASA Executive Director Patrick Ky and other guest.
The first session will then focus on “Operating Safely and Effectively – A Safe Return to Operations”.
After a 30 minute break we will continue with “Welcoming Passengers – The Aviation Health Safety Protocol”.
- 5th November 2020 from 09:30-12:30
The next day will start with a discussion on “Caring for our people through the crisis” followed by a session on “Enhancing Environmental Sustainability – Recovering Greener”.
We will reconvene virtually after a break to discuss the last topic “Unveiling the Data4Safety Programme”.
